On the hillsides of Elnes, the month of May sees the flowering of nearly 13 species of orchids, and in addition to the birds that are present all year round, there are birds that only come to us in the summer. Passerines and birds of prey are numerous to appreciate the place. During a short hike of 4kms/5kms on the paths that run along the limestone hillsides of Elnes and Wavrans, we will make stops to identify the flora, listen, observe and identify the birds.
