The Hucking Estate is a protected woodland that also rewards visitors with stunning views out across the Weald. The estate is managed by the Woodland Trust, who have been working to protect and restore the ancient woodland alongside other habitats such as chalk grasslands and link these all together for the benefit of wildlife.
Since 1997 they have planted 180,000 trees, recreated 55 hectares of grassland and planted nearly a mile of new hedgerows.
