Geopark Stakeholder Meeting

As part of the Cross-Channel Geopark Festival, Dover Castle will host the stakeholder meeting – Key Partners Day on Friday 7 November 2025. This invitation-only gathering brings together key partners and institutional stakeholders from both sides of the Channel to celebrate achievements, share knowledge, and strengthen cross-border collaboration.

The day will highlight the Geopark’s progress on its journey towards UNESCO Global Geopark status, offering insight into recent projects, initiatives, and strategic plans. Participants will explore how the Geopark fosters sustainable tourism, conservation, education, and cultural connections across the region.

Highlights include:

• Formal reception at Dover Castle with speeches from UK and French partners, Geopark representatives, and institutional stakeholders

• Presentations showcasing the Geopark’s achievements, shared geological heritage, and cross-channel initiatives

• Exhibition and interactive displays featuring recent projects and partnerships

• Opportunities to network and exchange ideas with key partners

• Signing the Geopark support charter and making a declaration to demonstrate commitment

• Guided tours of Dover Castle and Maison Dieu Dover, exploring the region’s geology, heritage, and historical connections

• All presentations and materials provided in French and English
