As part of the Cross-Channel Geopark Festival, join GeoAmbassador Lucia of The Wild Kitchen for a hands-on foraging and wild food workshop at Dover Castle.

Explore the natural bounty of the site while learning about edible plants, berries, seeds, nuts, and seaweeds.

There will be two sessions:

11am- 12.30pm, book here

2pm-3.30pm, book here

These workshops are family and all age friendly.

There will be a take home recipe for all participants and lots of tastings from acorn pancakes to seaweed flat bread.

About Lucia / The Wild Kitchen

Lucia is a GeoAmbassador and founder of The Wild Kitchen, specialising in foraging, wild food education, and sustainable cooking. She leads workshops and guided walks that connect participants with local plants, trees, and coastal ingredients, combining practical cooking, drawing, and hands-on learning. Lucia’s work celebrates seasonal and local ingredients while fostering a deeper appreciation for the natural environment.
