The Strait of Dover, marked by Cap Gris-Nez at its point on the French coast closest to the English coast, has undergone major geological upheavals throughout its history.
How was it formed?
What if the English Channel were once a river? Is it true that you used to be able to walk to England?
We’ll explore all these questions at the site, between Cap Gris-Nez and Cap Blanc-Nez, which also tell very different geological stories…
We’ll take the opportunity to admire these breathtaking panoramas, with views of the English coast, whilst wandering along unmarked paths where nature remains unspoilt.
