Dover Museum have sent The Bronze Age Boat replica to journey across the channel, to be displayed ss part of The Masters of Fire, the Bronze Age in France 2300-800 av. J.-C. exhibition at the Musée d’Archéologie nationale.
The replica is half the size of the original Bronze Age Boat on display at Dover Museum. It is long and narrow and constructed from timber and stitched with twisted willow.
The replica will be on exhibition in France from June 13, 2025 to March 9, 2026, 10am to 5pm
Closed on Tuesdays and on 25/12 and 01/01
